Not just any Australian artists who sell online, but art finishes and dementia-enabling art.

Hi! Ever since I was a kid, I wondered what art is and what art does. Yes, I was weird and obsessed with art. Today, I am an Australian Art Entrepreneur and my story to create an Australian Art Gallery online -but for unique art finishes and (through Tailored Artworks), our dementia-enabling art, is fascinating.

Since 2006, through my other company Tailored Artworks, I was doing hand-painted art commissions and wall murals, graduating to cosmetic renovations in 2015 for residential, corporate and aged care.

While exhibiting at over 20 Brisbane Home Shows, people would mention to me that properties were starting to look very similar. As did my designer friends and celebrity designers like Shaynna Blaze. It appeared to be a worldwide trend. Because everyone from real estate agents to homeowners was believing they should play it safe. Home Show visitors also asked me for lots of Art Finishes that I didn’t have, like tile murals for their bathroom renovations.

Colour Psychology and practical environmental design are essential to my design approach. So, I decided to work on ways to Advance our Age-old beliefs in the Importance of Art in Architecture.  The result is The Mural Shop’s stunning range of products for walls, doors, glass, ceilings and pools inside and out. Soon, Tile Rugs- floors. So, did I discover what does art does? Yes! It creates a sense of well-being into a home. And, as art finishes it creates your unique point of difference.

It’s my dream to get more art built into homes as art finishes.  Never giving up made me an Australian Art Entrepreneur.  Today, I help you improve your mental health through wellness architecture, or biophilic design.  In the future, I want to encourage Spec Home Interior Designers to start with art and then allow it to inspire their decors indoors and out. To achieve this goal, I have a team of industrial chemists developing state-of-the-art products for our Tile Mutrals and Verticle Tile Feature Strips including, tile cleaning agents, ink-to-tile primers and coatings to give developers a 6-year warranty in showers.  That’s huge.

As mentioned, I didn’t get into solving problems for Aged Care because I have a loved one with dementia. I don’t.  I decided to help because I felt offended by the designs you have inherited and how they are forcing you all to live.  I felt that I had found a purpose in life.
